Removed from a ‘00 Civic SIR back in 2012
Engine has been covered and stored in a garage for the past 12 years. Mileage is unknown but is estimated to be much lower than your average B16. Completely stock, unopened engine with Honda-bond still sealing the valve cover. I have decided to remove the valve cover which revealed how frequently the oil was changed. Super clean, no sign of wear on the camshafts. Still has original timing belt and water pump. OEM clutch and flywheel had some corrosion so I swapped it out for an Exedy OE replacement.
